Gideon disembowels his dead horse and hides inside it. When one of his pursuers walks up to the dead horse, confused to see its entrails lying around on the ground, Gideon suddenly jumps out of the horse and grabs him.

The police take her body to the morgue where later that night the boy uses a scalpel to cut himself out of her abdomen, like a second birth.

A fisherman evades Customs officers by smuggling illegal Chinese immigrants into San Diego inside very large sharks that he catches and kills, then opens them up and sews the people inside. After the shark carcasses are brought to shore they are opened up and the people are released.
